Biodegradable Cabin Supplies Solutions for Global Airlines | CNAirFly

• As the global civil aviation industry continues its low-carbon transition, reducing single-use plastic products in cabins has become a shared development direction for the entire industry. With tightening environmental policies across regions and rising environmental awareness among travelers, traditional disposable cabin consumables such as plastic food containers and tableware are being phased out of aviation service at an accelerating pace. Safe and reliable biodegradable alternatives have become a common choice for global airlines upgrading their cabin supplies.

• In line with the industry’s green development trend, CNAirFly has launched its PBAT bamboo powder biodegradable inflight tableware series, providing mature plastic-reduction alternatives for global airlines. Made primarily from PBAT and natural bamboo powder, this series of tableware can fully biodegrade in the natural environment after its service life, effectively reducing plastic waste generated in cabins and lowering the environmental impact of aviation services.

• In terms of performance, this biodegradable tableware complies with food contact safety standards, and boasts good temperature resistance and structural strength. It is suitable for all kinds of inflight catering scenarios including hot meals, cold dishes and beverages, and meets the requirements of use in high-altitude environments. While delivering environmental benefits, it does not disrupt normal inflight catering services or compromise passenger experience.

• With aviation-adapted product performance and stable supply capacity, CNAirFly’s biodegradable cabin supplies can cater to the operational needs of airlines of all sizes, helping global carriers steadily achieve their cabin plastic reduction goals and driving cabin services of the civil aviation industry toward a lower-carbon and more sustainable future.
